Hi! I’m Chris, and like many people, I have a family member who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis – an unpredictable and often unrelenting life altering disease that affects the central nervous system. While there have been several new therapies that have changed the lives of people living with MS, we still have a long way to go to finding a cure. I am running the NYC marathon 2018 to support the Tisch Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding the cause and a cure for multiple sclerosis as well as providing state of the art clinical care for those suffering from the disease. They have pioneered new ways to change the lives of people living with MS, including stem cell transplantation, which is the only way to generate new nervous tissue in the spine, offering the first real hope to reverse disability in MS patients. As a scientist, I believe in the groundbreaking work they are doing here to better the lives of those living with MS. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
