How do you measure success? At 4CS of Passaic County we measure our success by the people we help achieve their goals every day. Our agency now has more than 6,000 children enrolled in child-care subsidy assistance programs. These programs oversee and help more than 10,000 children annually. Our child-care programs allow those parents to work, go to school, provide for their families, better themselves and
improve the communities we serve. Conferences and trainings reach more than 33,000 individuals annually.
Take Vanessa, who came to the United States 14 years ago from Puerto Rico with one child and left her husband behind. When she first arrived, she spoke no English and relied on her mother to care for her child.
Two years later her mother decided to return to Puerto Rico, leaving Vanessa with no child care. At that time, Vanessa was making $8 per hour, and life was a struggle. Through a cousin, she was introduced to 4CS. They helped her find a high quality child-care center where she could leave her child, and where her child was able to learn English. Vanessa went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in business administration from William Paterson University and is now a senior manager at a non-profit agency. Years later, her
husband joined her in the United States.
Vanessa is just one of the many 4CS success stories, but these stories don’t happen without the support of our community. By contributing to 4CS, you can help care for a child in need, empower their parents, to achieve their goals, and improve the quality of life for the residents of Passaic County.
Would you please consider making a tax-deductible gift of $1000, $500, $250, or $100 or another amount so we can continue to help people like Vanessa and their families.
Thank you for creating a better beginning for children and their families in your local community.
