My mom has been a warrior battling multiple sclerosis since I was a teenager. As her MS progresses, her resilience only builds as she adapts to each physical challenge. She leads an independent life due to the excellent medical care she has received for 18 years from Dr. Saud Sadiq, founder of the Tisch MS Research Center of NY.
Dr. Sadiq's most powerful medicine has been hope. He has dedicated his life to finding a cure for MS and is close to achieving this goal with the developments his team has made in stem cell therapy. This October, he begins Phase II of the FDA-approved clinical stem cell trial after obtaining positive results in Phase I.
To support this great cause, I have joined "Team Tisch" in the Mighty Hamptons Triathlon in Sag Harbor. The race is September 9th and I appreciate any donation.
