We want to make a difference, and the people of Hawaii need our help. With the emergence of more lava fissures in the Puna District of the Big Island, many locals have lost homes and been displaced by emergency evacuation. The lava flows have impacted the people financially, emotionally, and socially- many have lost significant personal belongings, lost jobs, and lost connection with land they called home.
The Pacific Quest Foundation is a 5013c non profit dedicated to philanthropic efforts around the island. Right now, we are making a dedicated effort to bring awareness and relief related to the effects of the Kilauea Volcano. Your donations are tax-deductible.
In August 2018, Mark Agosto and Mike Sullivan are racing a trail ultramarathon - running 120 miles through the Colorado Rockies with 20,000 feet of gain over 6 days. The race covers remote mountainous backcountry and is not for the faint of heart. Additionally, we are logging hundreds of training miles this spring, eating healthy, staying loose, and remaining dedicated. This is a serious undertaking and we mean business.
Our dedication to training and completing this feat will be our way of creating awareness for the Pacific Quest Foundation and relief efforts for the people of Puna. Please contribute by clicking the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Pacific Quest Foundation, the greater the impact. Please contribute, share to social media, tell your friends and family, and join us for a training run! Thank you for your generosity. It means a lot!
