My friend John and I are cycling the Hebridean Way from 7th to 21st May in aid of St John’s Hospice, Lancaster. The 500 miles route is from Barra to Lewis and then Skye, Mallaig, the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and Mull. If you wish you can follow our journey by viewing our blog: https://philgordon5.wixsite.com/hebrideancycle
As the staff at St John’s cared for our good friend Mark with such dedication, kindness and patience in the last few weeks of his life we want to show them our appreciation. By making a donation you will help meet the £3.4 million they need to raise each year to maintain their excellent service. Note: only 30% of the £5 million required is government funded.
Mark was an active and popular member of our South Lakeland U3A Cycling Group. Tragically, he died last May aged 68 only 5 months after being diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour. It was such a cruel blow to someone who was extremely fit, healthy and full of life.
Please help us help St John's Hospice by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about St John's Hospice, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means such a lot!
