My mum, Heather was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the lungs, liver & brain in the last week of level 4 lockdown. Heather is 67 years old and has lived an amazing life. Always generously giving to those in need, not just in her local community but all around the world. Heather spent years volunteering at orphanages in third world countries and when at home organised out reaches for the homeless and less fortunate. Heather moved to live with me & my family in October last year from Australia and we are blessed that she is surrounded by family now! The prognosis is not good, even with treatment but in support of Heather (who has lost her hair due to chemo) we are shaving our heads! Any donations will be given towards supporting those struggling with lung cancer. If you are unable to give, please keep Heather in your thoughts. Heather is not afraid of her destination, just the journey it will take to get there. Any and all support is greatly appreciated!
Chanelle and I are shaving our heads to support my mum money or no money, but any support you can give to this amazing organisation is greatly appreciated! Chanelle created this page because we want to make a difference. We're inspired by the work of Lung Foundation New Zealand and wanted to support them by raising money. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Lung Foundation New Zealand , the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
