My Story

Hi guys. I am very happy to announce that I will be cycling again this July to raise money for Chernobyl Children International Cardiac Missions.
- thousands of children are born every year in the Ukraine with deadly heart defects commonly known as Chernobyl Heart. Only half the children will receive life saving surgery. The rest will die within 3-5 years. CCI provides logistical and financial support to international surgeons to make trips to eastern Ukraine to provide life saving operations. It costs roughly 1,000 euro per operation. i.e. 1,000 euro to save a childs life!!
I know I have asked for your help in the past and hope I can rely on your support again this year. Each trip I try to make a little entertaining or at least more interesting than the last. You have given me your hard earned cash and so the least you deserve is to see me suffer a little/lot lol.
This year I will attempt to cycle from Venice in the north of Italy and finish in the town of Corleone in Sicily.Around 2,000km.I'm hoping to document this magnificent country and throw a few history lessons your way too.
The rest is up to you guys. My mission is to save one life. But I am hoping we together can save two or even three. But just to save one life would be incredible. So lets give a child with no hope a chance in this world. There is always hope.

Thank You
