One year after the passing of my mam Eileen Crotty and to acknowledge the great work that St. Francis Hospice Raheny do for so many in the North Dublin Community, I wanted to have a day of celebration:
1) to bring about an awareness of what the hospice does, a blend of music and presentations will take place at 10 am 1st April in the Helix. This event entitled "A Celtic Journey of the Heart" will be facilitated by Deirdre Ni Chinneide.
2) with a concert on Monday evening (8pm) 1st April. Acabella and friends will engage you in a night of entertainment to celebrate 30 years of care given by St Francis Hospice, Raheny/ Blanchardstown to so many people from the North Dublin Community. Acabella a five-part female harmony will perform ‘music for the soul’ - an eclectic mix of songs ranging from traditional Irish and contemporary folk, to gospel and jazz.
Contributions from DCU ACCESS Pop- up Choir, Ciaran Coll, Seamus, Margaret, and Ally Brett, Deirdre Ni Chinneide, Fergal O Murchu, James Blennerhasset, Rod Quinn and Richie Delahunty
There is no charge for the morning workshop and the evening tickets are just a nominal fee of 10 euro simply to ensure that people are present on the night for the celebration.
