SYDNEY LEADERSHIP ALUMNI FUND 2017
FUND TALENTED INDIVIDUALS SO THEY CAN LEAD CHANGE!
At Sydney Leadership there’s no greater priority than ensuring a transformative experience through a diversity of perspectives and cultures. Sydney Leadership scholarships are for talented Australians who have the drive to tackle some of the most complex challenges facing our nation, but not always the financial means to participate.
Most Sydney leadership Alumni were able to participate in this program due to some form of sponsorship. As we aim to enable more participants to further develop their capacity for change, we are seeking your donation towards the Sydney Leadership 2017 Alumni Fund.
HOW YOUR MONEY HELPS US
Because our Sydney Leadership program runs on a cost recovery basis we rely on funding from supporters like you. This year, Tom Nance was able to experience the Sydney Leadership program due to generous funding from our alumni.
Tom Nance is currently Strategic Initiatives Project Manager at Western Sydney Community Forum. "I've been privileged to be part of the program and learn from so many inspiring people. I'm looking forward to taking the next steps in my career with the strong base that SLA has given me". You can read more about his Sydney Leadership experience www.bit.ly/2eDXmeM
Last year Anna Rose was the recipient of Alumni funding. Anna focuses on environmental campaign work and the impact of climate change on agriculture and Aussie food. For her work she was recently recognised as one of the three finalists in the ACT Australian of the Year awards, and was given the “Conservationist of the Year” title by Australian Geographic. She is now a board member of the Australian Geographic Society. Her vital work would not be possible without your donations. Read Anna's story www.bit.ly/2fTyGVd
We’d like to thank you personally. Your wonderful ongoing support of Sydney Leadership participants is much admired and very much appreciated. On behalf of every member of the team, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your help creating a better Australia.
