Steve McArdle was a much loved son, brother, uncle and friend.
At 47 years of age, in January 2017, and after a 30 year battle with an ever-growing number of challenges (not the least of which was schizophrenia) he decided to take his own life.
He is now at peace, and his family are learning to finding their own peace with his decision.
If you would like to make a donation to a charity in Steve's memory, or to support those who support people struggling as Steve did: you may choose to do so here.
(Rosies is a charity which provided support to Steve when he needed friendship or a meal, coffee, or a chat.)
You can leave a message, or donate anonymously.
You can also leave a memory of Steve, or message for the family by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org (copy and paste into your email program)
Our family thanks you for your support.
