My Story

Inspired by a great and very worthy cause and in admiration for those who have participated in previous years. I'm joining the team for the first time this year with the goal of completing the 250km :o whilst I've run a few marathons, I've never done anything on this scale and have no idea how tough it's going to be or whether I'll be able to complete it. I'm going to give it everything I've got!

Whilst I've never had the pleasure of meeting Tony, I'm privileged to be taking on this challenge and raising a few bucks the process alongside Mat, who of course holds this charity so close to his own heart. Thanks team TTT and Thanks to everyone who chooses to sponsor me!!!

Trail to Triumph is a group of charitable people joining together to run an Ultra Marathon (250km) to raise much needed funds for Mesothelioma. Every dollar counts and by donating to Trial to Triumph your helping build the awareness of Mesothelioma and it's severity to those affected.

The Trail to Triumph Journey, fondly known as 'Tony's Journey' was created in memory of Tony Britton who lost his battle with Mesothelioma. A rare and currently incurable cancer caused by asbestos, his son Mat Britton has since founded 'Trail to Triumph, an annual event which tackles the arduous terrain, running 250 kilometres, to commemorate the life of his dad and raise funds and awareness of Mesothelioma.
