My Story

Its that time of year again where I support the great work of the Bernie Banton Foundation. Having seen the work the team put in at Bernie Banton Foundation to support families of this awful illness and raise awareness of the cause of this disease I am inspired to put myself through the pain of another 250km run.

Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Bernie Banton Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting me once again on this ever eventful journey.

Trail to Triumph is a group of charitable people joining together to run an Ultra Marathon (250km) to raise much needed funds for Mesothelioma. Every dollar counts and by donating to Trial to Triumph your helping build the awareness of Mesothelioma and it's severity to those affected.

The Trail to Triumph Journey, fondly known as 'Tony's Journey' was created in memory of Tony Britton who lost his battle with Mesothelioma. A rare and currently incurable cancer caused by asbestos, his son Mat Britton has since founded 'Trail to Triumph, an annual event which tackles the arduous terrain, running 250 kilometres, to commemorate the life of his dad and raise funds and awareness of Mesothelioma.
