My Story

Hello lovely people!
I've joined the Pen to Paper Challenge to raise money for The Sydney Story Factory.
This month I will write 10,000 words of my novel for middle-grade readers. This is the most I will ever have written in one month, but this is a challenge and I am ready!
The Sydney Story Factory runs free creative writing workshops for Indigenous and marginalised young people.
If you would like to support me to raise money for the Sydney Story Factory please donate using the 'Give Now' button.
The more people that know about Sydney Story Factory, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

Pen to Paper Challenge 2016

This September writers of all varieties are committing to putting their pens to paper to keep the creativity pumping at the Sydney Story Factory. They're challenging themselves to sit down and WRITE and asking friends and family to sponsor them.
Want to sign up someone UNDER 16? Please click on "Continue Reading" to see important info.
We've already blitzed our original target! Amazing! So we're going higher, with a big bold stretch (gulp) to $30,000. Will you help us get there? $30,000 will guarantee no fewer than 600 places in one of SSF's signature book making or robot bird poetry workshops for marginalised children. Thanks for your support!
Are you registering a young writer under 16? Call the page your child's name. Then all other details, including date of birth, need to be your own to create a fundraising page on Everyday Hero (you have to be over 16 to be able to fundraise). If you have any problems at all email debbie@sydneystoryfactory.org.au. Thanks again!
