Hi, I’m Poppy and I’m 12. When I was born my parents named me ‘Poppy Isabel’, Poppy being the name I called my late Great-Grandfather and Isabel after my late Great-Grandmother. I have always known that I have had some big shoes to fill as both my Great-Grandparent’s were selfless in showing their love, compassion and support for those that they came across.
I was privileged to have them teach me about love and the importance of family support. When my Mum first told me about child trafficking in it made me extremely upset to think that kids my age can end up on the streets or worse after being separated from their families. That is why I want to be part of of the #onyabike 2017 team.
This October I will be riding 240km through India to the raise funds to help provide Brighter Futures for Children. I hope you will join me so together we can make a difference! Thanks for your great support!
