On 15th April 2020 Tom Dunn will begin his attempt to set a new record for 'World's Longest Triathlon'.
The trip will cover 9,000km across the Australian continent; starting at the westernmost point Steep Point, WA and arriving at the easternmost point Cape Byron, NSW. The trip consists of an estimated 7,000km cycling, 280km swimming and 1,800km running.
Along with completing the epic physical effort, Tom will be raising funds and awareness to benefit mental health.
Tom will use his journey to demonstrate the power mental health has in our lives and it's potential for positivity. The trip aims to create a discussion about mental health.
For fundraising Tom has partnered with LIVIN and supports their "It Ain't Weak To Speak" message. All fundraising proceeds will go to LIVIN to support their LIVINWell program. (A 45 minute mental health education program that is delivered across Australia)
