On 7 November 2013, my challenge is to fly 11 days and 10 nights to every continent (except Antartica) on Qantas planes without leaving a plane or airport. This will involve 170 hours in the air over 140,000km. This is only possible thanks to the wonderful support of Qantas who have provided all flights at no cost.

2 years ago, $130k was raised to buy a world leading lung function test machine which now tests all the children with CF once a year to allow more targetted treatment. My aim now is to compliment this with a full time researcher. Completion of this important research will not only inform about better management for children with CF but will also provide the CF team with the strong platform needed to apply for ongoing funding for this position in the longer term. The outcome will be sustainable benefits to all children with CF to keep them as well as possible for as long as possible.
Cystic Fibrosis is the most common life threatening recessive gene condition. It attacks the lungs and digestive system with repeated infections leading to lung damage and eventually respiratory failure.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
