On November 16th 2014 I will be riding the altitude of Everest (8850m) on my bicycle in a single day, a trip of almost 250km that is expected to take 12 hours.
But because riding all day and attaining the altitude of the world’s highest mountain isn’t hard enough I will be using the unsealed Goat track at Mount Nebo. To be exact I will be climbing the Goat track 15 times – on my road bike.
Why? – well mostly for same reasons people have climbed Mount Everest - because I can but also to raise funds for a organisation I am very passionate about – The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, an organisation that helps every day people climb their own mountains back to health.
