A work colleague of mine who is the CCC Foundation founder asked me to help raise awareness (through cycling) of a support mechanism aimed at reducing suicide in Sri Lanka.
While I don't really know anyone in Sri Lanka, I do know the impact that suicide has on family and friends of those who struggle with all sorts of demons.
So to help make an impact on suicide, a few of us organised a ride day in Melbourne this Sunday. About 20 riders (including myself) will take on the mighty Dandenong Mountains, riding 133kms from Jells Park, around, up and over the range, finishing back in Jells Park for a BBQ lunch.
You can help me help the CCC Foundation by donating via my Everyday Hero page, and by letting others know why we're doing what we're doing this Sunday.
