I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Australia (MNDASA) and wanted to support them by raising money.
My name is Irene and I have just turned 101 years old. For my 100th birthday I did a tandem parachute jump to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Australia (MNDASA). I jumped from 15,000 ft and I loved it! My goal is to do another jump and hopefully this time to break the world record for the oldest woman to do this.
I wanted to raise money for MNDASA as they were a great support to my daughter and her family as she battled MND. She died from this wretched disease in 2008. The care and attention given by the MNDASA staff was a great comfort to my daughter and I want to do all I can to help them support other people suffering from this terrible disease.
