Here we go again for another year!!
For those of you reporting back for a second, third or fourth time to donate - thank you and welcome back! For those of you that are new - welcome, we appreciate you being here.
As you know, it’s that time of the year where we shout from the roof tops about the importance (and necessity) of raising much needed funds for brain cancer research.
Our family has been on this journey for nearly 4 years - Kieran was diagnosed with a grade III Oligodendroglioma, a serious form of brain cancer, on 5 June 2015, being our 1 month wedding anniversary. He has undergone extensive surgery and treatment and we are damn lucky with how well he has recovered. Since that time we have welcomed two beautiful children, Angus and Henry.
For those of you that know Kieran – you already know that he is a truly remarkable man (and Daddy to our gorgeous little boys) and for those of you that have not met him yet, I hope one day you get the privilege.
Sadly, Brain cancer kills more people under 40 than any other disease in Australia and yet it only receives less than 1% of the government's cancer research funding. Further, the survival rates for brain cancer have not changed in more than 20 years. It's for these reasons that the MHF needs people like you (and I) to dig as deep as we can and raise as much money as possible for research.
Please dig deep, but know that any amount of money, big or small, makes a difference.
Please donate today xx
xx Kailey, Kieran, Angus, Henry and Moose
