Our Story Today:
Getting a Head of Brain Cancer is an initiative that continues to support The RMH Neuroscience Foundation in honour of a courageous man, my husband Jeremie Delbosc.
He had a profound impact on everyone that knew him and continues to inspire us all today. He believed that there was nothing we couldn't do together and with him in our heart his legacy continues in the pursuit to get a Head of Brain Cancer and to be the exception to the rule.
Last Year, Jeremie and I set out to raise $5000 (story below). Together we organised events which allowed our friends and family to have a great time for a great cause. It was always our belief that in some way our story would be the exception to the rule.
As it were, we lost our beloved son and brother, best buddy / bro / mate and adored Husband - Jeremie Delbosc this year, but that hasn't stop our determination or belief that together we can make a difference. So in honour of my husband it is now my new goal to raise $25,000 this year to fund vital research into the causes and treatments of Brain Tumors.
Our Story then:
Inspired and in awe of the neuroscience team at the Royal Melbourne Hospital we have created this page to raise awareness and essential funds to help support the work and research efforts of these amazing doctors.
So grateful for our experiences it is our hope that money raised will mean that one day soon there will be no stories to share, that brain cancer, like so many other cancers will be curable and we, with all of your support will have helped to turn the statistics around and get " a head" of brain cancer once and for all
