Want to see Dyson Heppell, Essendon FC Captain, shave off his beard?!
Friday 29th June 2018 is World Scleroderma Day. It’s a day when people from across the globe come together to raise awareness and funds for Scleroderma - including great blokes like Dyson Heppell who are shedding their beard for the cause. The “Get Behind The Beard” campaign runs throughout June to raise much needed funds for research into Scleroderma.
Scleroderma is an auto-immune disease that currently has no cure, is severely debilitating and ultimately shortens life expectancy. Dyson is a proud Ambassador for Scleroderma Victoria; sadly, his Grandmother passed away because of the disease.
On World Scleroderma Day, Dyson will be joined by his little mate Harrison. Harrison is the youngest known sufferer of Scleroderma in Australia and is just one of two children worldwide who suffer from the rarest form of the condition at his age.
We’d love you to get on board. Please, make a donation and help our mate Harrison get closer to a cure. All donations will go to Scleroderma Victoria, and 100% of donations will go toward research.
