My Story

I am 14 years old and I have created this page because I want to make a difference. For the past 3 years my Uncle Mark has been living with and treated for Metastatic Malignant Melanoma. I have seen the help Uncle Mark has got from melanomaWA and the support our family has received from them is beyond amazing. I'm riding the Mission for melanomaWA so that I can raise lots of money so melanomaWA can continue to support affected families, and to help raise awarenes so in the future families won't have to deal with this. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about melanomaWA, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

100 miles for melanomaWA

On the 19th - 20th August a team of bike riders will travel the John Forrest Heritage Trail from Mundaring to Northam and return for melanomaWA. Along the way the team and support crew will be stopping at schools and community groups to raise awareness of melanoma.

melanomaWA is a non-profit organisation set up to support people who have been diagnosed with melanoma. melanomaWA was founded by Clinton Heal, who was diagnosed with secondary melanoma back in 2005 at the age of 22. He has been living well with melanoma for over 10 years and understands what it is like to be on the same journey as those diagnosed. melanomaWA is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for people who have been touched by melanoma is some way, whether as a person living with melanoma or as part of their support network.

The team members have rallied behind our cause because they believe in what we do and we encourage you to visit their personal pages to see their personal stories and how you can support them.
