My Story

I occasionally volunteer at the Sydney Story Factory and would love to see their amazing work with marginalised kids continue and expand. My first novel, Esme's Wish, a fantasy/mystery for younger teens, is to be published in 2017. My writing goal for the Pen to Paper challenge is to add 10,000 words to the first draft of the sequel, tentatively titled Esme's Gift. You can find out more at elizabethfoster.com.au.

Please help a worthy cause by hitting the Give Now button. Give as little or as much as you want. Every bit counts!

Pen to Paper Challenge 2016

This September writers of all varieties are committing to putting their pens to paper to keep the creativity pumping at the Sydney Story Factory. They're challenging themselves to sit down and WRITE and asking friends and family to sponsor them.
Want to sign up someone UNDER 16? Please click on "Continue Reading" to see important info.
We've already blitzed our original target! Amazing! So we're going higher, with a big bold stretch (gulp) to $30,000. Will you help us get there? $30,000 will guarantee no fewer than 600 places in one of SSF's signature book making or robot bird poetry workshops for marginalised children. Thanks for your support!
Are you registering a young writer under 16? Call the page your child's name. Then all other details, including date of birth, need to be your own to create a fundraising page on Everyday Hero (you have to be over 16 to be able to fundraise). If you have any problems at all email debbie@sydneystoryfactory.org.au. Thanks again!
