My Story

I've done a bit of volunteer tutoring for Story Club so I've been lucky enough to see some of the fabulous work they do. They have lively centres in Redfern and Parramatta where kids, most of them from marginalised communities, come in and do creative writing workshops. But Story Club also sends their brilliant storytellers and volunteers to schools in Campbelltown and other areas to run workshops. In SC workshops, the kids are sparking with creativity, growing in confidence, finding their own voices - it's wonderful to see! With more funds, Story Club can go out to even more schools. Please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

Story Factory Pen to Paper Challenge 2019

Blob

Over the weekend of 23-26 May 2019, Story Factory supporters challenged themselves to complete an original piece of creative writing and asked friends and family to sponsor them. All so that up to 200 Western Sydney young people can gain life-changing skills in our creative writing workshops. www.pen2paper.org.au

On top of the total above, philanthropists Catriona and Simon Mordant AM have donated $10,000! Their amazing gift means we blitzed our target. Fantastic!
Every additional donation helps deepen impacts. Thank you!
