1230hrs (AEDT), Sunday 19th of November, Herb Greedy Hall, 79 Petersham Road, Marrickville, NSW
In 2014 I was hit by a car whilst cycling to work, my spine was shattered and I had a severe brain injury. I was placed in an induced coma for 12 days and couldn't make new memories for 19 days.
After 3 weeks in hospital I was transferred to Royal Rehab for a further 5 weeks of recovery. Thanks to their care and support I was able to rediscover who I was and find my way back into my life.
Royal Rehab is an amazing facility and I want to show what a difference they have made to my life by telling the world about them.
To do this I am attempting something that has not been done before, as far as I am aware.
I hope in pushing myself to achieve this challenge I can inspire others who have been through a similar experience that there is hope. There is always a way.
I will be live-streaming the event and I hope to raise as much as possible for this amazing place, so that more people can benefit from their care and support.
