My Story

In my short running career, I've been more interested in running races, getting PBs and receiving the race bling. Having achieved more than I have ever thought with my running, I decided that it was time to use my running to give back to the community. Specifically , I will be running the "Trail to Triumph", which is a 250km run from Moranbah to Mackay to raise funds for the Bernie Banton Foundation.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Bernie Banton Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

Trail to Triumph is a group of charitable people joining together to run an Ultra Marathon (250km) to raise much needed funds for Mesothelioma. Every dollar counts and by donating to Trial to Triumph your helping build the awareness of Mesothelioma and it's severity to those affected.

The Trail to Triumph Journey, fondly known as 'Tony's Journey' was created in memory of Tony Britton who lost his battle with Mesothelioma. A rare and currently incurable cancer caused by asbestos, his son Mat Britton has since founded 'Trail to Triumph, an annual event which tackles the arduous terrain, running 250 kilometres, to commemorate the life of his dad and raise funds and awareness of Mesothelioma.
