We are Circle Movement. We're radical dreamers and spirited doers who are actually crazy enough to believe that our collective actions can lead to a more just and ethical world.
Beginning Tuesday 1st March we are inviting you to tick off seven goals in the seven days leading up to International Women’s Day (IWD) 2016.
Today (Day 5) we are making a donation to A21, a cause that is very close to our heart.
We’re asking our group of friends (aka. YOU) to complete at least one of our squad goals. These goals have been designed with the sisterhood in mind; to empower you as a woman & to empower women around the world.
- Do something you've never done before
- Speak out about injustice towards women
- Encourage another woman
- Refashion an old outfit
- Make a donation to A21 Australia
- Make a #BringBackOurGirls Badge
- Rest, relax, refresh
Squad Goal (skwäd/ɡōl) (noun) (plural noun: squad goals): an aspirational term for what you'd like your group of friends to be or accomplish.
Empowerment has become an increasingly important cornerstone in reducing global poverty, inequality and helping to promote growth and benefits for all society. Empowerment broadly refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social or economic capabilities of individuals and communities.
The goal is to ensure women are participating fully in all arenas of their own lives. How this is achieved exactly, looks vastly different across cultures.
Our 7 Squad Goals are designed inspire empowerment personally and across the board.
Thank you for taking the time today to give to such an incredible cause that fights against human trafficking daily! You are making a difference!
