My Story

When I was growing up, reading books and writing stories was one of my favourite things to do (#bookwormlife) and it would be a terrible thing for any child to miss out on the opportunity to daydream and use their imagination in the same way, just because they're from under-privileged cultural, linguistic, or socioeconomic backgrounds.

Story Factory do amazing work in Sydney to help marginalised children with literacy, giving them a voice to express their stories and experiences. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button and I'm proud to say that every dollar I raise will be matched by my wonderful workplace Lovatts Media.

The more people that know about Story Factory, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

Story Factory Pen to Paper Challenge 2019

Blob

Over the weekend of 23-26 May 2019, Story Factory supporters challenged themselves to complete an original piece of creative writing and asked friends and family to sponsor them. All so that up to 200 Western Sydney young people can gain life-changing skills in our creative writing workshops. www.pen2paper.org.au

On top of the total above, philanthropists Catriona and Simon Mordant AM have donated $10,000! Their amazing gift means we blitzed our target. Fantastic!
Every additional donation helps deepen impacts. Thank you!
