On August 25th 2012, 35 former Knox Old Boy Rugby players gathered together to play a match against Mosman to support two of their own battling cancer. We managed to raise $100,000 for Lifehouse.
We feel we are compelled to go one more time together. Lachlan Robertson youngest of the 1V Robertson Brothers, sadly lost his battle with Cancer and our brother in arms, Tim Cussell has just finished chemo for an insidious return of his cancer which he had been given a two year all clear.
We can't change life's course but we can show everyone what community spirit, a brotherhood created through mate ship and a simple game of footy can show us that life is all about living in the now and making the most of what we have.
Please join us on August 17th 2013, for a 1pm kick off on Knox 1, Knox Grammar School and any donation will make a difference to someone that may really need a Lifeline.
