Last week I wrote a piece about the Sydney Story Factory's Pen to Paper Challenge, and I was absolutely inspired by the great work they're doing and decided to get involved myself.
Sydney Story Factory are a not-for-profit creative writing centre that are doing amazing work encouraging young people, particularly at-risk kids, to get writing.
For September they're raising money by asking Australians to accept the Pen to Paper Challenge, which is about committing to a new writing project, whatever that may be.

I used to be a big writer, and now aside from features and interviews for work, I don't write creatively anymore. And I kinda miss it. So, I'm accepting the Pen to Paper Challenge and motivating myself to get back into it, and write a short story this September.
If you donate, you're not only helping me rediscover something I used to love (maybe I'll even let you read the final product), but you're supporting a really wonderful charity that are making a difference. It's basically a win-win.
Thank you :)
