In December 2017, our family will be embarking on a ‘Ride to Remember’ in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand – Aotearoa.
Our Journey will begin at the Southern end of NZ in Dunedin, with our Family – Scott, Karen & Archie, 2 mountain bikes and one trailer. We will cycle all the way to the North of the Island, stopping in many towns along the way to raise awareness for our cause.
We will carry all of our gear on the bikes and camp in National parks and some Holiday parks. We will take approximately 6 months to complete our tour.
The purpose of this ride is to remember our Daughter Marley Clarke - who was Stillborn 6 years ago at 36 weeks gestation.
The ride is also about creating awareness, in order to support families who have suffered with an infant death in their family.
Marley’s death has been a very emotional journey for our family, and we are passionate about supporting the Research that is being done to help prevent Stillbirth and Neonatal death.
Our Goal – Our goal is to raise awareness and Funds – $5000 for The Mater Hospital Research Institute in Brisbane, QLD Australia.
