1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will get cancer by the age of 85. It’s estimated that across Australia, more than 120,000 people were diagnosed with cancer and more than 42,000 died from cancer in 2012.
Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! as well as Making Spirits Bright are a Halloween and Christmas light spectacular community event that will help boost awareness and raise funds for The Cancer Council NSW.
Two of these residential houses will transform their houses from an every day, ordinary house to a spooky, eerie haunted house on the 31st of October, 2014 followed by converting them into Christmas Light Spectaculars.
Survival rates from cancer have risen by 40% over the last two decades. Your contributions and donations will greatly benefit The Cancer Council NSW and will help ensure cancer prevention, research into new treatments, cures and provides clinical and emotional support to those affected by cancer.
